You can follow the players or stake out your claim at your favorite link. Some prefer to follow their favorite player for the day. Watching them deal with different situations can be exhilarating. Other people enjoy staying in one general area to see as many professionals as possible through the day. This provides a great way to see the differences between all of them.

Being quiet and polite during play is important. In fact, it is practically required. A single, inappropriately timed cheer can cost a player hundreds of thousands of dollars if it distracts them. Follow the directions of the staff and officials. Watch for the quiet signs, or the official to raise his or her hand to quiet the crowd. Cheering is good, but at the right times.

The most important part of the day is having fun. Proper etiquette may be required, but having fun is the reason to attend. With the large crowds, millions of dollars on the line, and a reputation to uphold, the pressure is on the players and every stroke can be intensely exciting to watch.
