They need to be able to drive on very uneven and rock surfaces and require a deep and wide tread to do so. In general, you should only buy this type of tire if you primarily use your vehicle in demanding off road situations.

Before buying any new tires it is important to find out exactly what is available and also to be clear about just how you intend to use your cart. In general, your cart tires should all match and you should aim to replace them together. Whatever else you do, do not compromise on safety and if you are at all uncertain about what to buy talk to your local golf cart dealer.
