Anyone who has taken up the sport of golf has realized just how expensive the game can be. Especially when trying to find a good set of golf clubs to use. They are always looking for the best set to help their game, when in reality its really more of a case of what they like to use.

The products themselves can be as numerous as in anything else purchased as well. While there are the major brands out there, there is also what is referred to clones. These clones are not trying to fool the consumer into thinking they are the name brands, but they will be designed very much like them.

The copies will replicate things such as angles and weight, to make a club they feel will provide the player the enjoyment of a good game. These will be made very similar to the originals, but will be significantly cheaper in price. They could be even considered a generic version.

There are really just a few places that sale the parts for making the clubs. So every manufacture purchase those parts from the same place and they are no different regardless of the brand. As a player ages, they may want to switch from steel shafted irons to graphite shafted irons. With age, the speed of the swing slows and moving from the heavier steel to the lighter graphite can help to compensate for some of that loss.
